These poems are inspired by my life along the woods and shorelines of the lower Cape. At a young age, I was intrigued by ballads written by my father and hoped I too, could someday write like that.

A childhood on Pleasant Bay often immersed me in the outdoors. A career in marine construction brought me out into the natural world that I love. 

Being near the water, I can see more sky and distance which allows me to see a bigger picture where all of nature is connected.

Each part of nature has a place that creates a harmony to the environment. The poems are my way of sensing the seen and unseen wonders that surround us. It is my sincere hope that you too may experience it.
